About EUSAS e.V.
Because of the growing number and specialisation of security and protection systems, i.e. systems for detecting and signalling danger to human life and material assets, it has become increasingly important to establish and to maintain contact among danger detection system engineers.
Some contacts are incidentally established for example during trade fairs, conferences or meetings of associations like CEN, CENELEC, EURALARM or CEA. But usually and regrettably there is too little time for detailed discussions.
On the other side, the sharing of experience and the exchange of views among professionals, particular in our time characterised by breathtaking short innovation cycles, is an important prerequisite for the quick introduction of new technologies and protection concepts. This applies particularly to interdisciplinary fields in which the know-how dissemination has not progressed very far.
In recognition of these circumstances the EUROPEAN SOCIETY FOR AUTOMATIC ALARM SYSTEMS e.V. (EUSAS e.V.), with headquarters in Switzerland, was founded on December 11, 1989.
